| European Banking Report (EBR) is a non-profit Research Group created in September 1993 by ABI, in co-operation with Fitch Ratings; today about 60 global banks and institutions and more than 320 members join EBR. |
EBR plans and carries out a research activity on the most important strategic and cyclical issues of the European financial industry, in terms of market structure, strategic policies and regulation structure. It develops specific comparative analysis¿ between the Italian and largest international banking markets. Bringing together bankers, economists, academics, business consultants and primary representatives of other Italian and international financial institutions, EBR studies the positioning of the Italian banking and financial sector, at national and international level. The main goal is to catch the possible competitive disadvantages as regards to other geographical markets or other industrial sectors.
