Security

In a digital landscape increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats and data breaches, the cybersecurity and the protection of sensitive information have become strategic priorities for the financial sector.

Banks are called upon to strengthen their defences against cyber attacks and financial crimes through the adoption of advanced prevention, monitoring e reply. Security is one of the main items of investment in bank budgets, with over 2 billion in the last five years.

The increasing complexity of the regulatory framework - between privacy regulations, regulations against financial crime and cybersecurity directives - imposes new challenges in terms of complianceoften exacerbated by requirements that are not fully harmonised at international level. In this context, it becomes essential to actively contribute to the definition of a European and global regulatory framework more coherent and shared.

Today's challenges are deeply interconnected: digitisation, sustainability, inclusion e innovation cannot be separated from stability, security e digital trust.

Alongside the protection of digital systems, banks also continue to guard the physical security of branches, safeguarding people, infrastructure and data with a view to integrated security - key element even in the digital age.
